Bostitch BTFP02012. On very first use, air leak heard and observed where main air shaft enters main tank.  Is this repairable with teflon tape and channel lock tightening?

  Hello OH PERRY CABOT and thank you for contacting BOSTITCH.  This could fix the issue; however, please try to return it to the retailer as taking the compressor apart will void the warranty.  Any repairs not done by a certified service center will void the warranty.  We will send you an email to follow up.  Thank you and have a great day.
